Our Way
Unlike traditional
time-shares, Disney Vacation Club gives members flexibility
with every vacation we take. We choose where we go, when we
go and how long we'd like to stay. Whether it's for a single
night, or two weeks or more, it's all up to us.
As Disney Vacation Club
members, we can even choose the size of accommodations best
for us — from a Studio for four, up to a Grand Villa for 12
— since our needs vary from one dream trip to the next.
The Power of Points
This unprecedented
flexibility is possible because of the Disney Vacation
Points system. Disney Vacation Club members own "points"
that can be exchanged for days at Disney Vacation Club
properties. This allows the reserving of rooms at a DVC
resort anytime of the year, for any number of days, rather
than a set time, week or period.
A Whole World of Options
As members, we can stay at
any of the eight Disney Vacation Club Resorts. We can also
choose from over 500 Member Getaways to vacation
destinations around the world!
Here are just a few examples
of vacation possibilities we can do as members:
- Enjoy signature Disney
style, comfort and convenience at the Walt Disney WorldŽ
Resort, DisneylandŽ Resort in California or DisneylandŽ
Resort Paris.
- Globetrot to some of the
greatest cities in the world: New York, Washington D.C.,
London, Venice and many more.
- Experience the magic of
a Caribbean cruise aboard Disney Cruise LineŽ.
- Bike through the
vineyards of the French countryside, ski the Colorado
Rockies or enjoy the adventure of close-up animal
encounters on an African safari.
Flexibility to Use Our
Points
Each year, Disney Vacation
Club Members are allocated their annual amount of points. It
is with those points that reservations are made. When a
member wishes to turn those points into cash, they have the
option to "rent' their points "to guests" who in turn can
use those points to make reservations.
